Lincoln Fire Department

The City of Lincoln Fire department is a dynamic agency full of new challenges and excitement. October 1st, 2001, Lincoln Fire Department went to a paid 24-hour, all risk fire department. Since that time, the city has become of one of the fastest growing cities in America with an increase in population of over 236% pushing the population over 39,000 citizens.

The department is currently operating out of two fulltime stations and one volunteer station with a third full time station opening in January, 2008. The department has 22 full-time personnel (including chief officers) and 12 volunteers/reserves.

The rapid growth of the city has brought a higher call volume that is still growing every year. Due to the growth, new equipment and stations have been provided to the department, including new breathing apparatus, two fire engines, and a tractor trailer ladder truck.

Lincoln Fire Department is a young, motivated department striving for excellence to provide the best service to the citizens of this city.
