How to Apply for a Job Opening with the City of Lincoln
When a position becomes available that interests you, you may call the Human Resources Division at 434-2496 and request an application, download the application from this site, or pick up an application in person at 600 Sixth Street, 1st Floor (a map to City Hall is available in the download section below).
Recruitments are generally advertised in the Lincoln News Messenger, Sacramento Bee, Auburn Journal, Appeal-Democrat and/or other publications along with this website. All advertisements give the salary range, a brief description of the position, application filing procedure, and final closing date.
Official City applications with original signatures must be submitted via U.S. mail or hand delivered to City Hall at 600 Sixth Street, 1st Floor, Lincoln, CA 95648. For that reason, faxed applications and e-mail cannot be accepted.
