The Lincoln Police Department provides a full range of 24-hour law enforcement services. These include response to calls, crime investigation, crime prevention, and public education. The City views public education as a key factor in reducing the potential for criminal activity. Public education programs include neighborhood watch, school programs, driving under the influence, and gang awareness task force programs.
