Constructed in 1942, Lincoln Regional Airport is a publicly-owned airport situated on 775 acres. The airport is a regional center for general and corporate aviation and an industrial and business park growing up on and around the facility.
The airport has a single 6001’ x 100’ asphalt runway capable of landing most corporate jet aircraft (up to 60,000 lb. dual wheel). The airport has a very high frequency omni-direction range station (VOR) instrument approach and a UNICOM station. An Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS – [frequency 124.25]) was installed in May 1993 and construction of an Instrument Landing System (ILS – [frequency 108.75]) has been completed.
Facilities include: 260 tiedowns, 46 portable hangars, 70 T-hangars, 9 corporate hangars, and conventional hangar space for 46 aircraft. A heliport and 3 helicopter tiedowns were constructed in 1995.
Businesses located in Lincoln are providing the following services: Fuel service (100LL and Jet A), aircraft painting, avionics sales and service, gyro-strobe and equipment sales and service, aircraft upholstery service, aircraft maintenance-parts-conversation services, aircraft sales, flight instruction, flight examinations, pilot supplies, aircraft rental, charter service, scenic tour service, aircraft manufacturing and repair of aviation electronics equipment.
Development Opportunities
Exceptionally navigable topography, generally outstanding weather conditions, a superb physical plant and infrastructure, impressive fixed base operators and an enterprising attitude toward the needs of the aviation industry are a few reasons why Lincoln Regional Airport has become the preferred site for service and sanctuary among the region’s more knowledgeable aviators.
There is still a “ground floor” of opportunity at the Airport for additional FBOs, related on-site development and commercial and industrial expansion on adjacent properties. A number of firms have factored the Airport into their decision to locate in South Placer County, including Hewlett Packard, Sierra Pacific, 3M Corporation, Louisiana Pacific, N.E.C., and Del Webb.
Leases
The City of Lincoln controls all the property within the Lincoln Regional Airport and leases property within its jurisdiction. Undeveloped land at the Lincoln Regional Airport leases between 2 and 4 cents a square foot.
The City also leases tie-down spaces at the airport for $40 per month. Hangar space is available from independent hangar owners.
Lincoln Regional Airport and Business Park
Surrounding Lincoln Regional Airport is Placer County’s ‘Hottest’ property, the Lincoln Regional Airport and Business Park. Zoned for Medium and Industrial Services, the east side of Lincoln Regional Airport is ready for development.
The City features 1, 2 & 5 acre parcels for sale adjacent to the Airport between Aviation Boulevard and Flightline Drive.
Located in the Foreign Trade Zone, the property is awaiting your company’s expansion and development
